How I Work

Shamanic or Indigenous Healing

The main goal of my work is to help you find and address the true cause of your condition, the emotional baggage that's causing your problem in the first place. In How Emotions Affect The Body, it was explained that the emotional baggage everyone carries exists in the body as energy forms. Getting rid of them so you can heal is what my work is all about. But of course, I also work on relieving your symptoms; if you have pain, that also exists as an energy form or it's caused by an energy form. Moving that energy out of you can reduce or eliminate your pain, and I teach many of my clients how to do that for themselves.

The most important thing about my work is that it's based on ancient indigenous healing practices, or Shamanic practices. I am able to listen to your body to know what it needs. I can feel the energy in your body and know where it's not moving well. I can feel energy that's causing problems in your body, and know how to remove it. Most importantly, with most clients, this work allows me to identify the emotional baggage that has caused their condition in the first place. And identifying it is the first step toward getting rid of it.

You have to help yourself get well. All of the examples given on this web site, from the case histories to how your traumas live in your body, are all very simplified to make them easy to understand. In practice, things can get pretty complex and not so cut-and-dried, because emotions are pretty complex things. And if you went through years of trauma as a child, you've got a lot of emotion from that stored in your body, and it can take a lot of work to get rid of all of it. That's why I teach most of my clients healing practices to do on their own, so they don't just rely on coming to me to get fixed. You have to participate in your own healing.

But getting rid of that emotion is how you get rid of your illness. Remember, the whole point of an illness is to alert you that you have emotional baggage that you need to dump. Once it's gone, there's no more need for the illness.
